Our family holiday at Absolute Ocean Guest House was fantastic! The location in Sandbaai was ideal for exploring the area. The kids especially loved Milk on the Beach restaurant with its lagoon and beautiful beach. We also enjoyed dining at Maltino's, and I appreciated the convenience of walking to Whale Coast Mall nearby.

One of the highlights was enjoying their own brand wine, which added to the relaxation on our balcony overlooking the crashing waves. The kids were entertained with their own smart TVs featuring kids' channels in their room. We all loved the mixed berry parfait served for breakfast—it was a definite favorite.

Overall, our stay was memorable, with great amenities, delicious food, and a perfect setting for a family getaway by the ocean.

During our extended 2 week stay at Absolute Ocean Guest House, we occupied their Family Suite, which suited our needs perfectly. Situated approximately a 10-minute drive from Hermanus town center, we opted to rent a car for the duration. We particularly enjoyed the convenience of walking the coastal paths and the proximity to Whale Coast Mall, just a 2-minute drive away, eliminating the need to venture into town for essentials. The peaceful surroundings allowed us to savor the sound of waves from our bed, complemented by breathtaking views.

The guest house offers a variety of activities and attractions that can be arranged upon request. They organized a memorable shark diving experience for us, which exceeded expectations. The staff, including Senzi, Vee, and manager Mariska, were exceptional throughout our stay, always available to assist with inquiries and provide guidance.

Overall, our experience at Absolute Ocean Guest House was characterized by convenience, tranquility, and outstanding service, making it an ideal choice for a relaxing getaway with convenient access to local amenities and activities.

• Oceanfront Family Suite

We had a very pleasant stay at the guest house, where the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. While they didn't have a specific vegan breakfast option available, they kindly arranged a delicious vegan parfait for me. Their attentiveness made our experience even more enjoyable.

I was absolutely blown away by the location and views. Unlike other places that claim sea views, here you're literally right in front of the ocean with no obstructions whatsoever. The chef, Vee, is incredibly friendly and served a delicious English Breakfast. Mariska, the manager, was also very helpful and even booked us a reservation at the fantastic Burgundy restaurant. I appreciated the convenience of parking right next to my suite and found the staff to be exceptionally friendly.

• Seafront Private Suite

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Absolute Ocean Guest House! The views from every part of the guest house are truly remarkable, but my favorite was relaxing on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Being about a 10-minute drive from Hermanus was perfect for unwinding away from the city hustle.

The huge smart TV in the Luxury Penthouse was fantastic, especially being able to log in to my own streaming platforms like Netflix and DSTV.

Highly recommend for a peaceful and luxurious retreat!

We had a fantastic stay at Absolute Ocean Guest House! My 8-year-old daughter and I spent 6 nights here and were thoroughly impressed with the attractions and activities available. The Hermanus Country Market was lovely. Thank you for taking such good care of us and arranging our activities in advance. The Penthouse suite was beautiful, clean, and had an amazing sea view! A truly memorable experience.
